There are obvious ways in which an allegation of Sexual Assault is made. Most commonly, the allegation will suggest a non-consensual sexual act, but the charge is broadly defined to include as an assault that violates the sexual integrity of another.

Sexual Assault charges are serious allegations that will result in jail time if you're convicted.  A Sexual Assault defence is a not something you should attempt without our professional lawyers experience and guidance. 

The distinguishing feature with an allegation of sexual exploitation is a preexisting relationship of dependancy between the parties. Most commonly, the alleged relationship will be that of an employer or a step parent, who has used their relationship to persuade the dependant into performing sexual acts with themselves or others.

Allegations of Sexual Interference are commonly brought about after a parent has been informed that their son or daughter(under 16 years) is being touched in an inappropriate and sexual way. This allegation is commonly added to  the list of charges one will received from an instance of sexual assault with a minor.

This offence is exactly what you would expect from its title. Allegations include a wide range of conduct associated with images and/or videos of children (under 18) engaged in sexual acts. 

It is illegal to make, distribute, access, or possess child pornography in any form (digital or otherwise).

The most common allegation comes as a result of file sharing platforms and online chat rooms.  Alleged offenders share some digital media of what appears to be a young person performing a sexual act. This is then reported to police by the company who manages the online platform and an investigation will be commenced.

Allegations include exposing genitals , masturbation and performing sexual acts in public places. 

There must be evidence of others being present and the act being done with the intent to insult or offend another person.

These charges are rare, but arise mainly from repeated complaints about individuals engaged in these activities near schools or playgrounds.
